I've decided to incorporate the collections of designers that I find truly inspiring and innovative. I call them Majestic Masters because they never fail to bring both fantasy and enviable skill and execution to their work.
Such an eclectic and vibrant collection, the philosophy behind it was to create garments that would cater for every and any type of girl; from grunge to preppy. The make-up of this collection also reminded me so much of the Black Swan's make-up, I thought it was such a contrast to the collection itself but it gives such a wonderful theatrical, artistic and John Galliano feel to it.

I absolutely loved the colour scheme and the fluidity of the materials used in this collection, it is also a reminder of the modern arabian nights trend I posted a few weeks ago. Another big trend for this fall is the layering of materials and garments, its both experimental and interesting.
This is very different from what we usually see from Chanel, it's a bit darker, a bit edgier; the cuts are androgynous yet have a touch of femininity through the use of materials and texture. I actually really like this, I think it is a modern and fresh take on Chanel's classical cuts. And to whom ever designed the background you are a genius! I love it, it coincides beautifully with the pallet of the collection almost ash like.
Alexander McQueen
Always theatrical, inspirational and opens up your imagination. These two pieces allude to something I'd expect the White witch in The Chronicles of Narnia to wear, they are fantastically and impeccably executed and simply beautiful. And the shoes are just art works, I love them!!
